I decided to write a journal entry just because I got tired of looking at the last one, which was from FEBRUARY.

Well, I'm still technically unemployed. Since I couldn't find a job anywhere I decided to go back to school. I'm there for a second bachelor's but this time I'm actually going for photography. I could write a whole slew of posts just about being back in school. The two big things that come to mind though are age and free time.

It's really strange for me to be there, mostly because 90% of the students are about 10 years younger than I am. It makes it hard to relate to most of the people around. Thankfully there are a couple people in my classes who are about my age. It amazes me though how most of the younger students just don't seem to care at all. They don't do their homework, they do half-assed work. It's quite amazing. I guess they just don't realize how shitty the real world is right now, especially if you're a photographer starting out. It ain't easy.

The big thing I really miss though is free time. My god. I had sooo much free time back when I had an actual job. Now I really don't have any except a couple hours here and there. In just my first two weeks of school I took over 700 exposures. Sorting and processing that many images, going to class and doing homework takes a VERY LONG TIME. Man, I can't wait for this to be over just so I can get my free time back. = )
